Rain Farther South

Thunderstorms that passed on through parts of Lower Michigan this morning deposited some much needed rainfall (mostly south of M-72 and M-55) with much lighter amounts, if any, to the north.

We even had pea to marble sized hail in Cadillac around 445a.m. with some gusty winds.

For this afternoon, we are looking at partly sunny skies north and cloudy skies south with a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Northern areas have a slight chance for a shower redeveloping. Highs will be in the upper 60′s to lower 70′s. Winds will be N 5-15mph.

A few showers are possible tonight especially in the L.P. otherwise mostly cloudy skies are expected. Lows will be in the 40′s and lower 50′s. Winds N/NE 3-6mph.

Mixes skies are on tap for Thursday with highs in theupper 60′s and lower 70′s north and lower/middle 70′s south. Winds will be variable 5-10mph.

Another system takes aim on the region Friday p.m. and night. This will give us another round of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 60′s to lower 70′s north and lower to middle 70′s south.

The weekend is looking to be a 50-50 weekend with Saturday *now looking dry but another system could be heading our way for Sunday.
